Asynchronous Validation is the standard behavior in Maximo 7.5. It increases Productivity by more responsive system for faster data entry.
The Asynchronous Validation features indicate problems with entered data as follows: An informational icon is displayed with problem description in the field, containing tab and applicable sections. Multiple tabs can show problems. We can enter data at your own pace, and address errors and warnings when I want to.
This feature can be turned off by setting 0 in mxe.webclient.async property in System properties Application. It is a rare case, that Users request to turn it off.
In this case, even if we entered wrong value in TYPE field, it allows data entry in other fields letting us to do the corrections later.
