There are a few best
practices while using Migration Manager to deploy a package as below:
1. Maximo Base language should be same in source and target environments
2. Product versions should be same in source and target environments. [Version can be viewed by clicking on Help --> System Information]
3. Deploy a single package at a time on the target environment
4. No inbound restrictions in the target environment
5. Properly sequence the order of Migration Objects for a Migration group based on the dependencies of other objects.

5. Properly sequence the order of Migration Objects for a Migration group based on the dependencies of other objects.
for example, Actions
and communication templates objects must come first in order before the
Workflow (WF) or escalation objects. It
is because actions and communication have to be migrated before WF or
escalations that use it.
6. When migrating any data using custom Object structure [other than out of box OS like DMACTION,DMCOMMTEMPLATE etc ], we need to ensure the custom Object structure is present in the target environment as well.
